Adventures Of Ma And Pa Kettle Description: "This program contains four adventures from the Ma and Pa Kettle Series. Films include:The Egg and I- Green Acres '40s style! Claudette Colbert hits just the right note of exasperation in this lighthearted comedy about a society girl whose new husband (Fred MacMurray) convinces her to move out to the canebreak and start a chicken farm. The finishing school graduate struggles with the hardships of rural living -- and keeps an eye out for the seductive neighbor down the road. Features the first film appearance of Ma and Pa Kettle.

"The Further Adventures of Ma and Pa Kettle- The Kettles and their fifteen children are about to be evicted from their rundown rustic home when Pa wins the grand prize by coming up with a new tobacco slogan. Birdie Hicks is jealous of the family's new wealth, which includes a completely automated modern home, and accuses Pa of stealing the slogan. Reporter Kim Parker proves Birdie wrong and marries Tom Kettle.

"Ma and Pa Kettle Go To Town- When Ma and Pa Kettle win a trip to New York City, they're excited beyond belief, but need to find a babysitter for their fifteen kids! They think they find a good sitter in a poet who says he needs some solitude -- but he turns out to be a mobster on the run! Hilarity ensues as the mobster struggles to watch the kids, and Ma and Pa wreak havoc on the big city.

"Ma and Pa Kettle Back on the Farm- The Kettles become grandparents and decide it's time to get back to basics on the farm after meeting their blue-blooded in-laws, who have some very different ideas about rearing children. To get away from the complexities of modern life, Ma and Pa move back to their farm shack. Meanwhile, Pa gets into trouble again--he strikes uranium, but promptly gets caught up in two crooks' swindle!
