Very high budget work from director James Avalon. Not a ton of visual effects, but lots of costumes, good sets, and a moody atmosphere brought on by good lighting and camerawork.

It's not that the scenes aren't hot, they just aren't volcanic. However, I think this is a good one for couples, or if by chance you actually want to see a movie with some sex thrown in. There's an actual plot here, which might cause a lot of fast forwarding by many of you out there (I admit, I was oneof you the first time I saw it :)

For the most part, all the girls were hot, especially Syren, the star of the show. Not only is she hot, but she can act too!! As a matter of fact, all the girls in this one are hot, and every scene ends in a facial. Also, one of the other things I really liked is the fact that Ron Jeremy makes an appearance, but he is clothed and doesn't have sex :)

Well, despite all it's strengths, one of the failings of "artistic" adult flicks is that it's good story, camerawork, etc, often tend to get in the way of the sex, and unfortunately, this film is not exception. There are too many camera cuts, slo-mo pans, etc. A good example of this is the films first sex scene, which is intercut with film's opening credits. It ruins an otherwise hot scne with Syren (and she gets a nice faceful too! Dammit!)

If you're looking for a good couples flick, I would say check this out, and give it a 10. However, the artfulness of it detracts from the sex, so I've got to subtract a point and give it a 9. That being said though, get it, it's worth the price (and it comes with a comic book too!!!).
