Starring: This homage to the porn of the '70s give it a solid try, but never captures hyteria of those golden days of psychotic producers, amateur studs who struggled to keep it hard, and directors who struggled to keep their leading ladies in line. There's certainly enough horseplay of sorts, and director Jim Malibu captures the mechanics of shooting a sex scene, but did he have to capture blandness too? The cast includes Ryan Conner, Shelbee Myne, Chris Cannon, Wendy Devine, Michael J. Cox, Tyce Bune and Steve Hatcher as the cast and crew of your "typical" production.

You would think a movie about the good ol' days would at least have the look and feel of a bygone era. But everything here rings hollow. Maybe it's the way Malibu shoots the sex scenes (they're largely unexciting), or that there really is no story thrust. Whatever the reason, the promise of the premise is not fulfilled.

It's so-so. There may be some butt-humping, and attempted facials, but Malibu's camera is often not in the right place to capture the action.

The girl-girl between Wendy Devine and Justine Romee has a certain sensuality, and Wendy is terrific at hands-free blow jobs, but most of the production is standard issue.

They missed their chance to make an original, nostalgic look back at the way porn really was.
