If this DVD feels a bit heavy it is only because there are four discs in here. Damn, this is going to take me all night. I'm not all that familiar with Playboy TV programming, but this is a compilation of the best that Spice Hotel has to offer. The show is a call in program where viewers get to direct the action. It's an interesting idea and I'm sure that the interactive nature of the scenes makes for a very exiting TV program. It seems a little bit like an X-Rated, live action version of the Sims. On DVD, they are free to do pretty much whatever they want so fans of the show will get to see the full hard-core versions and watch their favorite parts over and over again.

Kristen and Barrett Blade start off. They follow the directions given to them by the callers. It's interesting for a while and the live interaction with the fans makes things pretty hot. Listening to them jerking off can be distracting. The action is broken up a bit because they are introducing clips as they fuck. So this isn't a normal scene, but it's pretty good action and the interaction has me interested in watching the rest of the action.

Avena Lee and Mr. Marcus are up next and she gives us a nice little ass-shaking show. The guys seem to have a really good time ordering Avena around and she follows directions really well. They have a good time together and we get to see another good side to this movie. Without the usual pace of a porn scene, the performers can have a good time and explore what they like along with the stuff the callers want them to do. They finish off with a little backstage fun.

Ariana Jollee and Nick Manning do a lot of talking about feet before their sex scene. Shy Love and Scott Styles have a hot girl calling in to instruct them during their fuck. That adds a nice twist and takes away the slightly creepy factor of trying to jerk off while listening to another guy do the same. On disc two, Marcus is back with Jada Fire and Dee working his dick. The conversation is pretty interesting and these two women make for a great three-way scene. Ariana Jollee and Billy Glide work really well together also. She shows up a few times in this collection and works perfectly in this format. In fact she comes back on disc three to serve as a sort of full time hostess who introduces the scenes.

With eighteen separate scenes, there is a really good variety offered in this collection. It's different and might not appeal to everyone watching. Even though they do full hard-core sex, a lot of the action is a bit softer than you might be used to. I don't want to curse the disc by calling it “good for couples” but let's face it, it probably is. The sex isn't typical porno sex. It offers a genuine interactive experience between the performers and audience. It helps vary the pace, positions and even the tone of the sex scenes. I applaud the genuine sexual energy and originality of this project. Some of the scenes work better than others and obviously I prefer the female callers of the guys, but everyone offers something to the mix. This collection should make you want to watch Spice Hotel, but with three full discs of action, you may need to stroke it a few dozen times to what you've already got with this collection.
