This is one of the bigger Adam and Eve releases from the past year, and I can give you a two word answer as to why it just might be a good movie, Nikki Anderson. Though Silvia Saint is probably the best known and most popular European porn import, I have always felt that Nikki has the best combination of awesome, cover girl looks, beyond perfect body and high sexual energy. Putting her in a costume/dialog feature isn't my perfect idea of how to use her skills, but at the very least, she'll look fantastic. A number of the other women in the cast are easy on the eyes.

Our story revolves around the mysteries of the Tarot card and the disappearance of a well known reader. A couple of sexy burglars break into a creepy old house only to find that they are not entirely alone. They find a deck of Tarot cards and like fools in a horror film, they being to read from the deck. Jessica Drake and Chandler are transported into a fantasy/dream world. Their first encounter is with the lovely Vivi Anne. All dressed in harem garb, the girls serve as private playthings for the lovely redhead. Very well shot, the action is slow, often slo-mo and quite soft. As pretty as these women are, the action really puts me to sleep. What makes matter worse, is that 'Hot Shot' feature which makes it impossible to scan through to the end without skipping the scene altogether. They pull out the sex toys, but this still end up as a nicely shot, sexually lukewarm three way unless you're really, really into costumed lesbian sex between pretty women who like anal toy play.

They awake dressed in silk and continue through the old house. Now Envy sits across from the Tarot reader, waiting for her future to be shown to her. We cut to a dirt road where Envy waits, dressed in a flowing white gown, looking quite Roman. Along comes Evan Stone on his little chariot. He of the dangling sack is quick to sweep her off her feet and then bend her over so he can get at her pussy. The sex is much better in this scene, full motion to this point which is always a plus. Since Mrs. Rog is sitting in on this review and since the hot spot feature keeps me from speeding through things, we're going to see how well this works as a couples scene. She likes that Dale is a good looking guy and says this looks very pretty. I can't argue with that as the scene is beautifully lit and the music fits nicely with her slow, deliberate blowjob. The super close ups of her pussy filled from behind lose the couples appeal from the chair next to me, though they nearly woke me up during this otherwise, slow piece of eye candy. A note from Mrs. Rog, she agrees with me that music instead of natural sounds during sex is a turn off. There are some moans here, but mostly, it's a slow guitar riff. The overall grade on this scene, sexually, a D- from me, a C from Rog. I give it bonus points for being well shot and pretty. Mrs. Rog gives it negative points for the music.

Jessica and Chandler reach the parlor where Nikki is playing the piano for her lover, Randy Spears. He moves in from behind and starts kissing her neck. The soft piano music makes for a better backdrop than the guitar, but I am still ultimately disappointed to see Nikki in a shadowy, totally slow scene. Give the camera guy huge points for some beautiful reflection shots. I like the silhouetted handjob and it fucking shots as well. The sex is shadowy, which takes away some of the sex appeal for me, but adds a lot of artistic points. He finishes out with a slow motion pop on her tits. Nikki is as gorgeous as this scene, but sexually wasted here.

Jessica runs out of the house, leaving Chandler locked in the house with the ghosts. When she has her reading done, we get another Nikki scene. This time, she is paired with her true love, Mark Davis. They pull up in front of the house in a carriage and Nikki starts sucking dick. Even in slow motion, she looks great doing this. No shadows this time, but for me, the lighting is perfect. He warms up her ass with some anal fingering. The best shots come later, with Nikki on her back, legs spread wide, gorgeous pussy at center screen and Mark driving deep. After all that, he pulls out and shoots a slow motion shot onto her perfect tits.

There is a lot of good in this movie. It is extremely well shot from beginning to end. I may like a different style, but there is no question that the director and camera operators did an incredible job in creating a visually stunning movie. The loose story makes the fantasy sequences flow rather easily and allows the cast to try a few different costumes. Sexually, the movie could have been a lot hotter, though some of the scenes are better than others. Nikki is gorgeous as always and I really wish her scenes had been less hampered by slow motion. Envy does a great job in her scene and I was very impressed with the way Kianna Bradley fucks and sucks. If fantasy/costume/couples porn is what you're looking for, then this one shines. If you're looking for more strokeable smut, look elsewhere.
