When I first saw the original 'Double Feature', I felt that it was one of the funniest, most original adult movies I had seen in years. Not surprisingly, it swept the AVN awards and transferred beautifully to DVD. As one might expect from such a big hit, DF also spawned this sequel. Following the same format as the original, we're in for two more 'hit' movies from Cheesy Pictures. This time, we delve into the world of overwrought detective flicks and ridiculous jungle boy rip-off movies. Of course like any good trip to the movies, we begin with some previews of coming attractions. The joke wears a little thin, but it's still worth watching.

Our first feature is called “A Stab in the Dark” and follows the story of a scheming wife, (Serenity) with plans to kill her husband (Herschel Savage) and collect a big pay check. Her plan seems pretty simple except for the fact that the maid (Asia Carrera) hears her talking on the phone. Herschel joins his lovely wife in bed and certainly has no objection to her amorous advances. (He's supposed to be rich and old, not stupid.) She slides up onto his face and wriggles around as his tongue probes her lovely folds. Swirling around, her mouth finds his hard cock and starts working it over. If you listen to the director's commentary, he talks about how 69 is not the most appealing position for a woman, but her ass sure looks good in these shots. In order to actually kill the guy she's fucking, Serenity really rides him hard. More great shots of her ass come before the big dismount and handjob finish. Mission accomplished, husband dead.

Serenity's partner in crime, Mickey G is having his own little celebration with Tabitha Stevens. Their party gets even bigger when the cute little pizza girl stops by. We move forward to the reading the Herschel's will. The shady cast of characters are all a little suspicious of each other. Randy Spears shows up to try and clear up the big mystery and root out the killer. Before he does, he slips into a bedroom with Asia. She looks fantastic in her little uniform. (Mrs. Rog says that we are not allowed to offer Asia a job in our house. Damn, there goes item number eight from my Christmas list.) We move a little too quickly through the blowjob, but Asia keeps her stockings on as she gets fucked on her side. Great looking sex here and from the look on her face, she's digging every inch. That leads us into a big orgy scene that doesn't do much for me. Tasha Hunter is in the mix and I always love watching her. Beyond the busty brunette's fine frame and great sexual attitude, there isn't much in this scene that turned my crank. However, if you like the sex in this movie and enjoy large groups, then you probably really dig the anal and DP action on hand at the party.

For the grand finale, Serenity heads back the jungle with MoMo where she becomes his lusty jungle babe. That gives us one more chance to see her pretty face on the business end of a hard cock. As before, great hand motion and some sexy wiggling of that butt. Very nice insertion shot this time around as well, leading into a high energy dock ride for the gorgeous blonde. She actually turns in a three position boff, riding, doing doggy, then lying on her back for the big pop.

As I said at the start, I didn't enjoy this movie as much as the original DF. However, there is a lot more here than you're going to find in your average sex comedy. Serenity and Spears once again show that they can carry a comedy and have great chemistry together. Sexually, this movie has a lot of scenes. Many of them are a bit too short for my taste, but that was just to allow for the large number of scenes. Fans of Serenity will certainly enjoy the fact that she boffs four times in this movie. Tabitha Stevens gets two scenes as well. Asia's only scene is tragically too short, but still a sexual highlight. Likewise, Tasha Hunter finds a way to grab some attention in the big group scene. Sequels are never as good as the original, but Bride of Double is still a well shot, sexually hot movie that is filled with some genuine laughs. The nice extra package makes it a very good DVD and one that will fit nicely next to Double Feature on any serious DVD porn collector's shelf.
