Starring: It's always interesting to watch the spin a women puts on porn whenever she hops into the director's chair. Here, Dyanna Lauren gets her shot and creates a derivative piece about an artist, Bobby Vitale, so absorbed in his work he fails to satisfy girlfriend Kobe Tai. That leaves Kobe alone with her imagination and a horny sculpture.

Lauren attempts to place a "woman's" spin on the production. Vitale is an icy character (and a ham of an actor), while Kobe provides the simmering sexuality. That's Ok by me, but it prevents the production from coming to a consistent boil.

Lauren taps the erotic theme of art as an aphrodisiac. But her execution is often ham-fisted. We get Kobe and Rebecca Wild doing a sloppy girl-girl while rolling around in paint. The sequence literally glows, but doesn't do much for the libido. Later, in a much hotter scene, we watch pretty Teri Starr and John West as art class models who take their work to glorious new heights.

The West/Starr combo is the video's best scene as they send their sparks through the entire class. Kobe's best scene? The finale, when a statue of Vince Voyeur comes to life to give Kobe the kind of sex Vitale is too wacko to employ.

Lauren tries hard, but never finds the dreamy quality she's after.
