Michael Ninn is one of the most innovative film makers in the history of porn. His influence has been felt from day one and he is still on the cutting edge of adult entertainment. Of course he makes movies that are heavy on style and eye candy and often lacking in raincoater heat. That doesn't exactly make his stuff ripe for a comp of DP scenes, but I suppose there will be plenty of people who disagree. After all, there have to be some people who are looking for high-gloss, couples friendly DP scenes starring some of the best performers in the business, right? I am not thrilled to see that the scenes are not identified at the start as they are in the best comps these days. I would imagine that is the last complaint I will have about anything on the technical end.

Dominica Leoni stars in the first scene. She is being filmed by another woman and does a pretty nice little tease sequence for us. There is a harsh cut to her in bed with two cocks already plugging her holes. After that we get just a few moments of condom-covered DP before the pop. The cumshots end up on her face in a mess of looped and slo-mo footage. Wow, I can't tell you how much I hated the way this was chopped up and served like cold, leftover sweet potatoes.

Aurora Snow is my favorite girl in all of porn, so I enjoy the heavy-fetish tease with her quite a bit. The industrial look of the scene is vintage Ninn and Aurora looks beautiful as she prepares to be taken. As before we jump too quickly into the action and everything just feels off as we watch her get plugged by Pat Myne and Jay Ashley. The action is better this time and there are some interesting popshots if you like cum on ball-gags, but it's still cut to the point that I can't even see it appealing to people who really dig this stuff.

Michele Wild and Wanda Curtis team up for a scene that is annoying from the start. The glossy look, out-of-focus footage and silly music just scream “Art-porn” and make me wonder if I was wrong about this movie appealing to couples at all. The girls are hot, so there is some decent footage along the way, but I still wonder just what Ninn is going for. (Perhaps in a full movie format, this kind of stuff will make more sense, but in a comp, cut to shit, it's like watching a kid off his Ritalin playing with the home movie editor.)

Raveness does a scene that is just fucking weird. Again, in context it might be great, but as it stands, we get this busty hottie being fucked in the ass by Tyce Bune. I wouldn't mind seeing this scene as part of the whole movie because it might have been very interesting.

Ashley Long gets into some futuristic sex. She is a long-legged blonde who always gives a great scene. Even with the thick layers of style Ninn overwhelms us with, she manages to bring some heat during the DP. They shoot syringes onto her tongue for the popshot which is interesting I suppose.

By now we know what to expect. Every scene is overloaded with tease and set up footage and short on flow. Jodie Moore is a great looking girl, but without watching her suck cock or build up to the double-stuffing just lacks something. At least her scene has great facial shots and a lot of post-pop footage. Nikita Denise, Shy Love and Katsumi all manage to bring us some brief shining moments that only make me want to go find the complete scenes.

I want to state once again that I think that Michael Ninn is a brilliant film maker. I know that his stuff isn't the usual raincoat material that most people make and I appreciate that. Even in this format, you can see the extreme care taken with each scene to ensure a great look. What I can't understand is why someone as good as Ninn would edit a compilation this way. We spend half of the time leading up to the action, getting a feel for the scene and then we get horrible rough cuts to a DP in progress. That kind of jarring break just leaves me wondering why they couldn't just give us the full scenes. Instead we get a nearly unwatchable combination of interesting tease and choppy sex. This great cast and Ninn's exceptional talent deserve much better than this.
