I hadn't seen a Vivid film with Dyanna Lauren in quite some time until I grabbed Bad Wives last year. After being so blown away by Dyanna's acting and sexual skills, she shot to the top of my list of stars to watch out for. She is beautiful, can handle dialog and goes beyond the usual stereotype of what a Vivid Girl will do. When it comes the stars with the whole package, Dyanna is in the top ten performers in all of porn. She is perfect for this sort of role that requires a bit more than just a pretty face and a willingness to fuck on camera.

Dyanna plays a woman with secrets. After blowing off her date (no, not blowing him.), she slips out to a sex club called The Zone. There she watches all kinds of interesting sexual activity, including Chloe masturbating while one guy sucks another off near by. Don't worry, it doesn't last long and no one blows a wad. (I can just hear the deafening sound of tens of thousands of squeamish porn fans all screaming and grabbing their remote controls at once.) To be honest, the rest of the action is oddly lit and moderately cool looking, but there is nothing remotely appealing to this smorgasbord or sex, at least not to me.

Things don't get any easier to understand as we cut to Steven St Croix, cruising with some of his friends. They see Kobe Tai being attacked, and it's Steven to the rescue. He takes her back to his place where she passes out cold. As it turns out, Steven is not such a nice guy, but his roommate Mickey G. cares for poor Kobe. While she is working her way back to health, Steven has found other ways to occupy his time. With Lexi Erickson so eager to suck his dick, who can blame him for being a little distracted and not noticing Kobe watching nearby? When he does spy her watching, Steven decides to get her involved in the action as well, ordering Kobe to strip while Lexi stays on her knees. Dyanna leaves him at home so she can go back to the club for a little release. This time, in addition to watching the action, (which includes a transsexual being sucked off by Stephanie Swift) Dyanna does a bit of dick sucking herself. Chloe is also there, to steal the spotlight with a hot little three way that includes a nice facial, followed by a hard ass fuck and finished off with an A2M glazing.

Dyanna is so turned on by this that she begins to strip in the center of a circle of horny men. She then picks out a well hung black stud and starts sucking his cock while another licks her asshole. (So much for Vivid stereotype number fifty three.) Both guys fuck the shit out of Dyanna in a very hot three way. I could have done without the artsy digital effects, since they cool the sex way down, but still, Dyanna is on fire with these two guys. This would have been the best scene in the tape without the distracting editing tricks. What a shame.

Kobe has been watching the developments and makes her presence known. Her appearance still doesn't jog Mickey's memory, and in puts them in all in danger. Steven sends some thugs around to whack them out. They narrowly escape to a cabin in the mountains where the sparks between Kobe and Mickey flare up again. While Mickey and Kobe share a midnight romp, Dyanna watches, fingering her pussy and recalling the wild scenes she has witnessed at the club. It's a shorter version than the pairing earlier, but if leads to a great three way when they decide to get Dyanna in on the action. These two women are a great contrast in looks, but they both fuck with tremendous energy. The shared facial cumshot is highlight reel material for sure.

Things take a rather ugly turn for the characters, but I'll let you find out for yourself what happens. We end up seeing Dyanna finally back with her original date (Vince Voyeur) in the club, giving him what I'm sure we would all kill for, a wet, hot blowjob from a gorgeous woman. This is one of those scenes that has a lot of heat, but ends up being too short for my taste. Still, Dyanna looks great and takes the best facial of the tape. I just wish things weren't so rushed here.

This is a video that suffers from a little bit too much brooding. The story is pretty simple, but seems to take itself a bit too seriously. Most of the sex is obscured by far too artsy lighting and much of the heat is lost. Now, before anyone thinks I hated this tape, I didn't. When Kobe, Dyanna and Chloe are allowed to actually have sex (And we are allowed to see it) they are all quite hot. Dyanna's three way would be the highlight, but the lighting is so dim, it nearly ruins it. Instead, the first Kobe/Mickey scene grabs top honors. This tape does get high praise for breaking a lot of the Vivid stereotypes. Hot anal, interracial with a V girl, transsexual action and even a little b/b oral sex gets thrown into the mix that is certainly a bit more than we are used to from Thomas. In all, it's worth watching to see Kobe, Dyanna and Chloe, but the rest is pretty skippable.
