Starring: This one's for the true porn fan. Director Wesley Emerson uses porn queen Kelly O'Dell's search for her comeback role the jumping off point for an "inside" lampooning of some of the industry's most well-known filmmakers. The game cast includes Tony Tedeschi, Jon Dough, Alexis Dane, Caressa Savage, Skye Blue, and Summer Cummings. But O'Dell is the star.

Rock solid. Emerson has the task of sending up the looks and styles of such directors as Gregory Dark, John Leslie, and Michael Ninn, and he does it by stripping away the pomposity. It's quite fun.

Unfortunately, though the sex is plentiful, and improves as the plot ticks on, the eroticism is cut by the bitchy humor. It's more humorous than erotic to watch O'Dell decked out in mosquito wings during the ripping Dark satire.

The high-point comes at the end with a girl/girl orgy that's an hilarious send up of Jim Holliday's mega-cast "Sorority Nurse Cheerleader Stewardess Cash Wash Angels" epics.

Emerson never figures out how to break away from the satire and pump up the action. The sex scenes, though passable, need more juice.

An 8 for its audacity.
